Bridal Survey Research
In Fall 2018, I wrote and conducted a Qualtrics survey of 29 recent brides. Most brides surveyed wanted to look "traditional" -- wearing a long, white wedding gown. Some specific findings of my survey revealed that:
• 34% of the brides stated that they chose their gown because it was “traditional,” “classic,” “timeless,” or “more bridal,”
• 31% did not even consider an alternative to a long, white gown -- such as color or a short wedding dress,
• 10% chose a colored gown (such as a dark purple), and
• 17% chose a subtler gown color such as blush or champagne as a top tulle color or as a colored underlay to make the white lace pop.

Target Market of the Collection
The Margaux Neborak bride may be reserved but has a rarely witnessed side. She loves to dance and to go to EDM concerts. Yet she still wants to look like a traditional bride while enjoying a fashionable bridal look that is unique, fun, and magical, with exquisite details.
Alternative colors for the fashion-forward bride
My Qualtrics survey results suggest opposition to a colored bridal gown, but this study comprised only first-time brides in the U.S. However, alternative colors need to be considered and are often requested by second-time brides and international markets.
